PR and marketing
Helping Members
Cylch Members are encouraged to use Cylch marketing services
to help them with their promotional needs, from writing press
releases and training to general media relations, marketing
strategies and communications planning.
Members who have received assistance recently include Powys
Zero Waste with it’s Powys Lottery initiative; the launch
of the Torfaen Cleanstream Recycling depot and the production
of press releases for a range of members.
Cylch encourages its members to take advantage of media and
PR related training opportunities offered by itself or through
its partner organization Wales
Council For Voluntary Action (WCVA). Cylch is happy to
organize training in this field for Members depending on demand.
Representation at other events
Cylch aims to attend or be represented at the majority of stakeholder
events and exhibits as part of ‘Team Wales’ at
the annual CIWM conference as well as attending other trade
events and forums. Cylch maintains a presence at a number of
public events including The Royal Welsh Show and The National
Eistedfodd.
In terms of communicating with the general public Cylch is
committed to it’s partnership with Waste Awareness Wales
and relies, in the main, on it’s representation through
the National Waste Awareness campaign.
Cylch’s Communication
Manager is responsible for ensuring that Cylch is aware
of and represented at the majority of stakeholder events.
