Sustainable Wales host Green Family Fair on St. David’s
Day
Sustainable Wales are running the Green Family Fair
event to take place on the Mumbles, Swansea on 1st March 2008. The
aim of the event is to raise awareness of sustainable issues
in a fun and informative way. Apart from a wide variety
of stalls which are a good mix of information and traders there
will be workshops about food miles and recycling for children
aged 6 – 11, craft from recycled materials for children
under 6, baby yoga demonstrations, free Fair Trade refreshments,
and a workshop at 2 pm for anyone wanting to make their town
or village plastic bag free. There will also be the opportunity
for children to make ‘real’ nappies for their teddies
and dolls. Sustainable Wales are looking for volunteers for
this event, so if anyone can help out please contact Natalie
Sargent, 01656 783405, nappies@sustainablewales.org.uk. Download
