Membership benefits

Applications
Applications will be considered by the Cylch Membership Committee.

Cylch Full Members benefit from:

  • full and complete access to Cylch information and resources
  • strategic and on-going representation and advocacy
  • priority on Cylch run or organised events and training
  • full support and advice on all sector, legislation, policy and business issues
  • support for and practical help with projects (planned or existing)
  • advice and direct help with funding applications and allocation
  • waste forums and networks of relevant contacts
  • discounted rates at the annual conference (including the AGM where full Members can exercise their right to vote) and discounted rates at other Cylch delivered training
  • free reciprocal Membership of CRN UK
  • eligibility to attend CRN UK events and training

Cylchgrawn
Cylchgrawn, the quarterly, fully bilingual, sustainable waste management publication for Wales, packed with the latest news from the sector, best practice in Wales and Cylch Member and Local Authority case studies, is circulated free to all Members.

Membership categories

Full Membership
Applicants for Full Membership must be: fully constituted, community based, not-for-profit distributing organisations actively involved in reduce, reuse, recycling and composting projects. The constituted status of organisations applying for Cylch Membership will be checked by the Cylch Membership Committee to ensure they are eligible.

Full Members have and are encouraged to use their voting rights at the annual AGM.

Associate Membership
Organisations or companies providing benefits (including discounted services) to full Cylch Members. Central and regional statutory organisations and local government departments are included in this category.
Cylch Associates do not have voting rights at the AGM.
