Information library
Cylch hosts a substantial information library in the Cardiff office which includes magazines, journals and newsletters, reports, guides and toolkits, legislation and waste strategies. These can be located using a fully searchable database, which also provides links to relevant on-line resources. The library is currently available by prior appointment for research purposes. Survey of funding of municipal waste management kerbside collection in Wales: Summary Report
This report reveals that community recycling organisations are providing some of the most cost effective kerbside recycling collections in Wales. The report contains data on costs of refuse, recycling and compostables kerbside collections in all 22 local authorities in Wales. It details costs of collections operated by the private sector, community sector or local authorities themselves and also compares variation in costs over rural, urban and valleys based local authorities. For kerbside recycling collections the costs of kerbside sort collections and co-mingled collections are also detailed. The Welsh Assembly Government commissioned the consultancy RPS to undertake this study. This study has been undertaken in cooperation with the Welsh Local Government Association and the 22 local authorities in Wales.

The Cleanstream document
The Cleanstream document (2006) is the updated version of 'Cleanstream: A Sustainable Resource Management for Wales' (2000). It continues to promote the economic, social and environmental benefits of source separation of materials. With contributions from many sources it is a better referenced document than its predecessor.
