WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
The winners of the Wales Recycling Awards 2008 were announced on Tuesday 21st October. The presentation ceremony took place during the 11th annual conference dinner, led by the Welsh Assembly Government Minister for Sustainability and Housing, Jane Davidson AM.

Cylch would like to congratulate all of the winners and finalists. We would also like to thank everybody who voted - around 300 people logged on and voted for their favourite organisations to decide the eventual winners. The number of excellent projects in operation never ceases to astound us here at Cylch, and we're proud to recognise and reward the efforts of so many dedicated recyclers across Wales.

This award is open to all Cylch Full Members and will reward the organisation that has best demonstrated some aspects of the following: sustainability, social benefits, community involvement, contribution to sector, diversion of materials from landfill or delivering a strong recycling message through excellent marketing and promotion.

This award is open to any organisation or company active in Wales and will reward those that have developed an innovative project, product, activity or service in the last 12 months.
