Below you find the list of arcive events for 2010; please click on the relevant month to view the information.

Regional Cylch Council Meetings 2010
These meetings took place in 3 regions of  Wales and consisted of topical presentations in the moring (available below) and a council meeting in the afternoon. The council meeting acts as a mechanism for Members in their region to express any issues / submit any ideas that they may have that are then raised at the Cylch board meetings. This is done via a nominated Regional Representative (RR), who is an individual person from a member organisation, who is nominated as a trustee and acts on behalf of their region.

The dates of the meetings that took place can be found below;

  • South East Wales (20th January)
  • North Wales (29th January)
  • South West Wales (23rd February)

Delivering Sustainable Resource Management - Marriott Hotel, Cardiff, 4th February 2010

Joined-up thinking between sectors and departments dealing with waste took a step forward in Wales as representatives from the social enterprise, statutory and private sectors gathered in Cardiff on 4th February.

The first joint event between Cylch (Wales Community Recycling Network) and CIWM (Chartered Institution of Waste Management) saw 100 delegates with approximately equal representation from all three sectors.
