The Wales Recycling Awards will open for entries on June 4th. Nominations will close on 16th July 2010. After this date, all entries will be handed to the judging panel ahead of the shortlisting panel meeting.
The shortlisting panel will consist of:
Judges who have connections with a nominee for any award – for example, a working partnership – will be asked to step out whilst the shortlist for this award is judged.
The Community Recycler of the Year Award, the Innovation Award and the Local Authority Partnership Award will be judged using the criteria outlined.
A maximum of ten points will be awarded for each criterion. Ahead of the meeting, judges will have had the chance to read through the entries and award points. The panel meeting will provide an opportunity to total up these points and discuss any issues relating to the shortlist.
The awards winners will be voted for by YOU via our online voting system. The online vote will be launched in July.
The winners of the Wales Recycling Awards will be announced by Jane Davidson AM at the Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner on October 21st 2010.
