Details: Tackling food waste is one of the most important things we could be doing to make our communities more sustainable. Food waste is being targeted by all UK waste strategies – restaurant and household food waste are to be included in recycling targets, adding an extra incentive for collection.
There is a wealth of opportunity for smaller scale operations to help reduce food waste locally. Cylch have put together a training day aimed at community organisations and local businesses who are interested in expanding their operations in this area.
